We’re thrilled to welcome Rachael DeTar as the new General Manager and Vice President at G&S Property Services!

Rachael isn’t new to the world of property services. In fact, she’s lived and breathed it from the property management side for more than two decades. Before joining G&S, she spent over 23 years managing associations, commercial properties, and leading property managers across Southeast Michigan. She sat in almost every seat of her prior property management employer from Administrative Assistant to President of the company. She knows the frustrations, the schedules, and the constant balancing act that property managers face every single day.

Now, she’s bringing that insider perspective to the vendor side, helping G&S continue to grow as the cleaning and maintenance company that understands property management from the inside out.

“As a former Property Manager and the former President of a large sized management company, I know what it’s like to coordinate vendors, juggle board expectations, and field calls from residents all before lunch,” Rachael says. “That’s why I’m so passionate about working with the G&S team, because we get it. We know how to anticipate needs, communicate clearly, and take the pressure off property managers so they can focus on the big picture.”

Her leadership will strengthen how we serve our commercial and association clients, from multi-unit complexes to corporate facilities.

Rachael’s transition into her new role also marks an exciting next chapter for G&S. As we expand our partnerships, she’ll be helping us connect more directly with the property management community, hosting educational events, attending industry roundtables, and sharing practical insights on how property managers can get the most value from their vendors.
